Lightweight Travelers is an evolving collaboration guided by songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jackson Magyar. Reflecting a lifelong connection to classic bluegrass and country music, his narrative storytelling has an ear for twangy steel guitars and south-of-the border mandolin textures.

His songs combine historical fiction and river-rat poetry, shoved through a Marty Robbins filter, with melodies reeking of pinon smoke -Michael Kirpatrick

With his nimble, jazzy flatpicking style and lonesome dobro sound, Jacob Nalle brings an exciting dynamic to Lightweight Travelers. Nalle's an expert in early jazz and honky tonk, and his love for Tony Rice is evident in all the right ways.
