Tickets are sold exclusively through Front Gate Tickets. We do not recommend purchasing tickets through third party sellers. We will not honor any fraudulent tickets sold by a third party.


Purchasing Tips

Durango Bluegrass Train tickets will sell out quickly, so it’s important to be prepared. Follow the steps below to make your purchase as smooth as possible.

Step 1: Create a Ticketing Profile

Before the on-sale date, set up a user profile with Front Gate Tickets. Click “Sign In” at the top menu and create an account using your email address or connect through Facebook.

Step 2: Be Ready at On-Sale Time

On the day tickets go on sale, log in to the Front Gate Tickets page before the on-sale time. To avoid declined transactions, consider pre-authorizing the charge with your credit card company. Once tickets go live, refresh the page to see available options.

Step 3: Move Quickly

After selecting tickets, you’ll have 10 minutes to complete checkout. Review ticket options in advance so you can add them to your cart right away.

If tickets show as “unavailable,” it means they’re currently in other carts.

Tickets are not sold out until marked “Sold Out.” Because of time-outs or declined cards, tickets may return to inventory. Keep refreshing for another chance.

Important: There is a strict limit of 10 tickets per household per day. Orders above this limit may be cancelled without notice.

Durango Blues Train

Durango, Colorado | August 20, 21, 22, 2026

The Durango Blues Train is back on the rails in 2026, returning for another unforgettable, music-filled journey through the San Juan Mountains. Taking place August 20-22, 2026, this one-of-a-kind experience combines live blues performances with a scenic ride aboard the historic Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.

Passengers will travel by steam-powered train through the spectacular canyons of the San Juan National Forest while enjoying six live blues performances throughout the evening. Each artist performs in their own vintage train coach, creating an immersive and festive musical environment that encourages guests to move freely from car to car. Four coaches offer seating, while two open coaches are dedicated to dancing and standing room.

In addition to live music, guests can enjoy an evening on the rails featuring some of Colorado’s best craft beer and wine, all set against the backdrop of breathtaking mountain scenery.


Great Smoky Mountains Music Train

Bryson City, North Carolina | June 5-6, 2026

All aboard! This summer, a brand-new musical adventure is coming to the heart of the Smokies. The Great Smoky Mountains Music Train embarks on its inaugural journey on June 5–6, 2026, promising passengers an unforgettable evening of live music, breathtaking mountain scenery, and the timeless charm of a historic steam-powered train.

Departing from the Bryson City Depot, the Music Train is a one-of-a-kind, moving concert experience along the scenic Nantahala River and Fontana Lake. Guests will enjoy six live performances across multiple vintage railcars, featuring two full bands and four solo or duo artists performing live American, Appalachian, folk, country and bluegrass music music throughout the train. Each coach creates its own unique musical atmosphere, and passengers are encouraged to explore freely, moving between cars as the journey unfolds."


  • Tickets are $165 per person and limited to ages 21+

  • Tickets are limited and will sell out in advance

  • The Bluegrass Train is approximately 3.5 hours long round-trip.

  • The train begins boarding at the train depot at 6:30 pM

  • the departure time is at 7:00 pm sharp.

  • The return time to the Depot is tentative at 10:30 pm.

  • There is a 15-20 minute break at Rockwood at approximately 8:30 pm.
